The workshop "Spacing & Rhythm" focuses on the importance of letter spacing in font design, covering theoretical principles, historical practices, and providing practical tools for application. Participants will learn to improve their font designs through proper spacing techniques and will receive a font with poor spacing to work on if they don't have their own.

What will we learn?
While designing letters usually gets the spotlight when making a font — just as important is the font's spacing.
From this new workshop, you'll walk away learning the principles of spacing, some theory & history, and how to apply it all to your own font. Of course, if you don't have a font yet to bring, we'll give you one to play with while we're in there.
